  7.     Help wanted: aggressive boss for football's most powerful
  8. job. The National Football League's top post has belonged to one
  9. man for nearly 30 years, and so replacing Commissioner Pete
  10. Rozelle has been tough. He has wanted to retire since March, and
  11. though some 50 names have been proposed, team owners can't agree
  12. on a successor. Some potential candidates don't want to be
  13. football's czar. Former Dallas quarterback Roger Staubach
  14. prefers the challenge of his real estate business, and U.S.
  15. Senator Bill Bradley will leave the field to others. Says he:
  16. "The ball's the wrong shape."
